Observe and Interact

Whether you are invited into the CoLab to collaborate on some project or because you’ve found us online the first stage is to observe and interact.

You can have a look at the following pages to find out more about the CoLab:

View the CoLab from Pattern to Detail

Now that you’ve seen what we’re about the next stage is to become more involved and take a look under the hood in our Slack Space.

This is where all the working groups, project teams, circles, and interest groups interact to work together. Here you will be able to see what’s going on in real time.

Access to the CoLab Slack Space is free and once your request is approved you will be considered an International Permaculture CoLab member.

Attend an Orientation Call

Once you have joined the CoLab Slack Space you will be invited to join an orientation call. The Welcome Gardening Team offers monthly calls for new members of the CoLab and existing members who wish to update their overview of what is happening in the colab. This is an excellent opportunity to stay updated with what is going on right now, what new projecs and micro enterprises are emerging, together with upcoming and ongoing funding applications.

Become an active contributor

Once you have attended an orientation call you will have some ideas of where to start engaging with the different working groups, circles, and services teams.

You will also benefit from being an active CoLab member which includes: access to free or by donation training, the opportunity to participate in group funding applications, internal events for members, and cross-network collaborations.

The Permaculture CoLab has a Vibrant Space policy which means your account will be deleted should you become inactive in the space.
