European Climate Initiative announces a new funding round

Currently the European Climate Initiative is on its 6th cycle of funding with an open call scheduled for November 23rd.

It provides a maximum 1 million Euros per project to NGOS, non-profits, local governments, and education institutions located in EU member states that do work in the following areas: climate policy, energy, buildings and municipalities, mobility, agriculture, soils and forestry, awareness, climate-aligned finance and sustainable economy. Prospective implementers from Central, Eastern and Southern Europe in particular are encouraged to submit project proposals.

Application deadline is January 22nd, 2022.

USA. National Student Competition-People, Prosperity and the Planet.

The P3 competition proposals should showcase the capability to simultaneously improve the quality of people’s lives, provide economic benefits, and protect the environment. The focus is on small, rural, tribal and/or underserved communities.

Award total: $800,000. Number of awards: 20. Due date: October 27th, 2021.

Das können Tools für mehr Datensicherheit, Software-Infrastruktur für systemübergreifende Zusammenarbeit, Anwendungen zur Datenanalyse oder Civic-Tech-Projekte sein, die die Beziehung zwischen Staat und Bürger*innen positiv verändern. Der Förderzeitraum startet am 1. März 2022.

Growers Grants for Black and People of Colour

 “over £29,000 in grants to Black people and people of colour who are either interested in getting into growing, investing in their already established allotment or back garden, investing in their learning and training or their projects/businesses. We have different grants available for Black growers and growers of colour to either take that first step or have that helping hand.”
