Water Restoration and Catchment Management

Join for an engaging webinar series, “Water restoration and catchment management” exploring innovative water restoration systems developed by Timor-Leste communities. Learn how these initiatives, implemented in a hot tropical climate with distinct wet and dry seasons, address critical water challenges through the application of permaculture principles and design.

Through this 3-part webinar series, Eugenio Lemos , Izu Pereira and Lachlan McKenzie, along with other Permatil and PermaYouth staff, will share valuable knowledge and experiences on addressing water management challenges through community-driven permaculture solutions, based on successful experiences by communities in Timor-Leste.

They especially invite African communities, refugees, young people, women affected by water issues and those in drought-affected regions to join us. Also, anyone interested in learning about innovative water catchment, permaculture solutions and community-driven approaches, is welcome.

How To Budget: Budget Types & Their Components

This workshop will draw a distinction between an organizational and project budget and will show how one fits into the other. Together we will examine qualifying expenses, their types and categories. We will practice creating budgeting scenarios taking into account a variety of circumstances.

Education By Design - Online Programme

The Permaculture Association's 2024 annual diploma and educator online gathering. Providing opportunities for doing group designs, producing tangible outcomes, collective marketing, and continuing professional development.

Attracting a diverse, inclusive audience including educator members, certified teachers, diploma apprentices, diploma alumni, tutors, LAND centres, community projects, activists educators of all kinds, designers of all kinds and new interested people who love to reach others with permaculture.
|
The Permaculture Association will send invites out to all online events in November, and you can choose to attend the sessions which apply most to your professional development, your livelihood or your interests. However they aim to make all sessions applicable even if you are not on the Certified Teachers Register or are not a diploma student.
